5.2.8.1 Firmware Version Check
You can check the firmware version by the following procedure.
1. Pull out CF card.
2. Turn the dial switch to “SETUP” mode.
3. Tune on the power switch while pressing the shutter switch.
4. FIrmware version will be appeared on the LCD monitor.

5.2.9 Re-installing the Expanded Functions
This section explains how to re-install the expanded functions that is deleted
when uploading firmware such as Hyper.
1. Create “op-prog” folder on the PC desktop. (PC must have PCMCIA card
slot.)
2. Put the expanded function program in this folder.
3. Insert the PCMCIA adapter with PCMCIA CF card inserted. Adapter is
defined as the removal disk.
4. Copy “op-prog” to the Dcim folder in the PCMCIA adapter, using explore.
5. Take the CF card out f PCMCIA and insert it to PhotoPC 3000Z.
6. Turn the power on and turn the dial switch to the “SETUP mode”.
7. Select “install / uninstall the expanded program” on the memory setting
screen.
8. Select “install” on “install / uninstall the expanded program” .
9. Press the “Return” switch and get off from the installation screen.
Firmware Version
C A U T I O N
When CF card without expanded function is inserted, “install /
uninstall the expanded program” screen of the expanded
function will not be appeared.
