Close the battery cover and slide it to the right 
until it clicks.

To remove the battery, open the battery cover, then 
push the catch down.

Charging the battery

Connect the AC adapter, then plug the other end into 
a power outlet.

The 

Charge 

lamp will glow during charging (It takes 

about 3.5 hours to fully charge the battery when the 
power is off).

Caution:

❏

Disconnect the AC adapter when removing the 
battery.

❏

Do not connect the AC adapter when the 
battery is not installed. Doing so may cause this 
device to be damaged.

Battery indications:

The battery status is always displayed in the top right 
corner of the LCD.

The catch for 
removing the battery

Charge lamp

: Indicates sufficient battery power.

: Indicates moderate battery power.

: Indicates low battery power.

: Indicates battery power is running out. This device is shut 

down automatically. Charge the battery using the AC 
adapter.

: Indicates the AC adapter is connected to the device.
