Unpacking and Assembling the Printer
Removing a memory module
Follow these steps to remove a memory module:
1. Perform steps 1 through 7 under “Installing a memory
module” on page 21 to access the printer’s DIMM slots.
2. Push the clips on each side of the DIMM slot outward to
release the memory module.
3. Grasp both sides of the DIMM and pull it out as shown above.
4. Follow steps 12 through 16 under “Installing a memory
module” on page 21 to complete the procedure.
Optional Interfaces
You can install an optional interface card to supplement your
printer’s built-in parallel interface and provide added network
compatibility. The EPSON interface cards described below are
compatible with your printer. (Not all interface cards are available
in all countries.)
Note:
The asterisk (

To add a direct connection to an Ethernet system, use an optional
