Indicator is lit/flashing in orange or green
: Lit : Flashing : Off : Varies according to the projector status
Status Cause Remedy or Status
High Temp Warning (This is not an abnormality. However, if the temperature rises too high again, projection stops automatically.)
• Check that the air filter and air exhaust vent are clear, and that the projector is not positioned against a wall.
• If the air filter is clogged, clean or replace it.

Replace Lamp Replace it with a new lamp.

If you continue to use the lamp after the replacement period has passed, the possibility that the lamp may explode
increases. Replace it with a new lamp as soon as possible.
No Air Filter Check that the air filter is securely installed.

If this error persists even after you have installed the air filter, stop using the projector, disconnect the power cable
from the electrical outlet, and contact your local dealer or the nearest address provided in the
Support and Service
Guide .

Low Air Flow If the message "The air filter is clogged. Clean or replace the air filter." is displayed, check the following two points.
If you continue to use the projector, and the airflow drops further, projection is stopped automatically.
• Check that the air filter and air exhaust vent are clear, and that the projector is not positioned against a wall.
• If the air filter is clogged, clean or replace it.

Replace the air filter if the Low Air Flow error occurs frequently even after repeated cleaning.

If the error continues after checking the points above, stop using the projector, disconnect the power cable from the

Replace Air Filter If the message "Clean or replace the air filter." is displayed, clean the air filter.
If the air filter has become brown because of tobacco smoke and so on, and you cannot clean it well, replace it with
a new air filter.
* The indicator and the message telling you when to replace the air filter are only displayed when "Alarm Timer" is
set to "On" in the "Air Filter Setting" menu from the "Extended" menu.
