
Notes on Installation
Warning
Do not use the projector where it may be exposed to rain, water, or excessive
humidity. The projector may result in fire or electric shock.
Caution
•
Do not place the projector on an unstable cart, stand, or table. When
projecting images vertically, install the projector correctly and appropriately to
prevent it from turning over or falling down.
The projector may fall down or tip over, and injury may result.
•
Do not carry the projector by one person.
Two people should use the handles to carry the projector when unpacking or
moving it.
Attention
•
Do not set up the projector in places where it might be subjected to vibration
or shock.
•
Do not set up the projector near high-voltage electrical wires or sources of
magnetic fields. These may interfere with correct operation.
•
Do not operate the projector under any of the following conditions. If this is
not observed, problems with operation or accidents may result.
While the projector is
standing on its side.
While the projector is
tilted one side.
While the projector is
upside down.
Attention
•
Do not tilt the projector at an angle that is greater than specified. If this is
not observed, problems with operation or accidents may result.
Angle of tilt
Using the projector at angles not shown in the illustrations above may
damage it or cause an accident.
•
Make sure you set
Direction
correctly. The lamp's operating life may be
reduced if it is not set.
•
When adjusting the image height with the vertical lens shift dial, adjust by
moving the image from the bottom to the top. If it is adjusted from the top
to the bottom, the image position may move down slightly after adjusting.
