Additional Features and Adjustments
Follow the steps in this chapter to connect external audio devices to the pendant microphone, connect a second
microphone to the AP-60, and to adjust the audio levels from different audio sources. See these sections:

Connecting External Audio Devices
The pendant microphone allows to you amplify sound from an external audio device, such as a computer or
portable audio device. Follow the steps below to connect your external audio device to the pendant microphone.

Turn off the microphone by pressing the power button.

Plug a 3.5 mm stereo mini cable into the headphone or line out jack on your audio device.
Note
If your audio device has RCA-style connectors, connect the device using an RCA to 1/8-inch stereo mini “Y” cable.

Plug the other end of the cable into the pendant microphone’s
Audio In
jack.

Turn on the pendant microphone and start playback from your external audio device. The audio is
automatically played through the AP-60.

If you need to adjust the volume, use your external audio device’s volume control.
Note
If your audio device doesn’t have a volume control, you can use the microphone
Gain
control wheel to adjust the
volume from your external audio device. The Gain control wheel also affects the volume of your voice when using the
pendant microphone. You may need to readjust the microphone sensitivity when you’re done playing audio from the
external audio device.
