Loading Paper
Note:
This printer does not automatically detect paper sizes in the
paper sources. Make sure to specify a paper size using the
Tray Menu
on the control panel. The factory default paper
size for all of the paper sources is
A4
.
Paper cassette
Note:
Perform the same procedure to load paper into the optional
paper cassette.
A
Slide open the paper cassette.

Press down on the media pressure plate to lock it
into place.

Important:
Do not touch the pickup roller.

Pinch the knobs and slide the paper guides to
accommodate the paper you are loading.

Load a stack of the desired paper on the center of
the paper cassette with the printable surface
facing up.
Note:
Make sure that you do not load paper beyond the limit mark.

Pinch the knobs and slide the paper guide to get a
snug fit.
Note:
Make sure to adjust the paper guides according to the size of
paper you loaded to prevent paper feed failures, paper jams
or any other error.
F
Close the paper cassette into the printer.
