If EPSON Status Monitor is not installed, you have to make settings manually in the printer driver. See
“Making Optional Settings” on page 254.
Removing the optional paper cassette unit
Perform the installation procedure in reverse.
Memory Module
By installing a higher capacity Dual In-line Memory Module (DIMM), you can increase printer
memory up to 512 MB. You may want to increase printer memory if you are having difficulty printing
complex graphics.
This printer has only one memory slot, and a 256 MB DIMM has been installed in it at the factory. To
increase printer memory more than 256 MB, you have to remove the original 256 MB DIMM first and
then install an optional 512 MB DIMM.
