3.2.9 Xerographics

3.2.9.1 DRUM CARTRIDGE (PL6.1.10) Removal

1.

Open the FRONT COVER ASSY.

2.

Turn the TENSION LEVER to the release position and separate the IBT
BELT ASSY and DRUM CARTRIDGE.

NOTE: Be careful not to touch the surface of the drum when performing the

following.

NOTE: After removing, be sure to lay the DRUM CARTRIDGE in its

horizontal position in a safe place not exposed to light.

3.

Turn the DRUM CARTRIDGE lock lever to the release position. Pull out the
DRUM CARTRIDGE, pull the upper belt straight out, and remove the
DRUM CARTRIDGE.
