3.2.8 MSI/Paper Transportation

3.2.8.1 MSI/REGI HIGH ASSY (PL4.1.5) Removal

Draw out the MSI/REGI HIGH ASSY.

Loosen 2 screws (black, cup head, 12 mm) that are on the P/H FRONT
RAIL-L and P/H REAR RAIL-L to prevent the MSI REGI HIGH ASSY from
dropping.

Remove the MSI/REGI HIGH ASSY by sliding it horizontally.

3.2.8.2 MSI GUIDE SWITCH (PL4.1.18) Removal

Draw out the MSI/REGI HIGH ASSY.

NOTE: In the following step, remove the MSI FEED ASSY if necessary.

Disconnect the connector (P/J205).

Using a standard screw driver, push the front arm of the MSI TRAY
HOUSING to the rear to free the lock for the arm from the MSI BASE
FRAME.

Release the rear arm part from the MSI BASE ASSY and remove the MSI
GUIDE SWITCH.
