The Cut Sheet Feeder

Press the
LOAD/EJECT
button to load the sheet.
Operating the Cut Sheet Feeder
After stacking paper in the cut sheet feeder, make sure
the
printer is
turned on and that the
ON LINE
light is on. In the on line status, a new
sheet of paper loads automatically whenever a printable character or
line feed command is sent to the printer.
Paper out condition
When the printer is on line and receives print data from the computer,
the first sheet loads automatically. Subsequent sheets load automatically
as necessary.

In the cut sheet feeder mode, the
PAPER OUT
light goes on while a
sheet of paper is being fed, but the printer remains on line.

When the specified paper bin is empty, the printer automatically
goes off line, the
PAPER OUT
light goes on, and the beeper sounds.
To resume printing, add more paper and press the
ON LINE
button.
