Adjusting the Cutting Position
Follow the steps below in order to adjust the cutting position of
the auto cutter.
Note:

Before doing the following, it is necessary to turn the printer on and
set the roll paper.

See “Loading Roll Paper” on page 64 for more details about roll
paper setting.

If you want to maintain a precise cutting position, it is recommended
that you adjust the cutting position each time you change the type
or size (width) of roll paper.
Using the control panel buttons
1. Check that no warnings or errors are displayed on the LCD
panel.
2. Press the
(
maintenance button to display the Advanced
Settings menu.
3. Press the
d
button to position the cursor at the Cutting
Position Adjustment and press the
Select
button.
4. Check that the roll paper is set and press the
Custom 1
button.
The cutting position adjustment pattern is printed out and cut
off.
5. By using the cut roll paper, check the most precisely printed
number among the color boundaries.
6. Press the
u
or
d
button to position the cursor at the number
identified in step 4, and press the
Select
button.
