Pearl User Guide

Shutting down the Device via the Web Interface

The Pearl web interface allows you to shut down the system.

To shut down the system:

1. Connect to the admin interface using your preferred connection mechanism. See

Connect to the admin

interface

2. Login as admin.

3. Select the

Maintenance

link in the Configuration menu; the maintenance page opens.

4. Click the

Shutdown Now

button; a confirmation dialog appears.

5. Click OK.

Shutting down the device manually

You can manually shut down the Pearl via the button physically located on the system.

To shut down the system manually:

1. Press and release the power button on the system to initiate a safe power down; the system shuts

down.

If the system is unresponsive, press and hold the power button for 4 seconds to force an
immediate power down.
