Host:
Enter the Host IP address of IDCView server for testing.
Port:
Enter Connect Port for IDCView Server.
Test:
Test result will be displayed at the black area after pressed test button.
5-7 Serial Port (UART)
This menu is mainly for setting the data of COM 1 (UART 1).
Type
: There are four types of UART: Disable, Console, API and UPS
described as below.
Disable
: Cancel UART function.
Console
: Computer connects with the device through RS232 and
operates the device through terminal program
API
: other devices can operate the current device through API protocol.
As for the use of API, please refer to the appendix UART API protocol.
Re-search
: If the model number is blank, confirm if the device is
connected and search again.
UPS
: Enable this when the device is to be connected with UPS to monitor
UPS information.
When the type selected is UPS, the following window will be displayed, press
"search" to search the device after selecting the "type".
