Use
this
command
to
identify
a
contact
person
for
the
system.
Syntax
set system contact
[
string
]
Parameters
Defaults
If
string
is
not
specified,
the
contact
name
will
be
cleared.
Mode

This
example
shows
how
to
set
the
system
contact
string:
C2(su)->set system contact “Joe Smith”
set width
Use
this
command
to
set
the
number
of
columns
for
the
terminal
connected
to
the
switch’s
console
port.

set width
screenwidth [default]

None.

Usage
The
number
of
rows
of
CLI
output
displayed
is
set
using
the
set
length
command
as
described
in
24.
string
(Optional)
Specifies
a
text
string
that
contains
the
name
of
the
person
to
contact
for
system
administration.
Note:
A contact string containing a space in the text must be enclosed
in quotes as shown in the example below.
screenwidth
Sets
the
number
of
terminal
columns.
Valid
values
are
50
to
150.
default
(Optional)
Makes
this
setting
persistent
for
all
future
sessions
(written
to
NV
‐
RAM).
