Enable security options on the wireless network to prevent intrusions to systems on the wireless network.

Note:

This section applies to Universal Repeater mode.

ESSID Selection

Select the wireless network group to change the wireless security

settings for.

Broadcast SSID

Enable or disable broadcast SSID. Choose whether or not the

wireless group is visible to other members.

Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM)

Enable or disable quality of server (QoS) to optimize the

streaming for bandwidth sensitive data such as HDTV video streaming, online
gaming, VoIP, videoconferencing, and etc.

Encryption

Select the encrypt type for the router.
