Dry Contact Description
Contacts C1 to C5 allow the unit to be connected to an external monitoring panel or to traffic control
equipment.

C1 (On Battery)
The C1 contact is energized when line power is unqualified and the
unit provides backup battery power to the load(s). It can be used to
generate an
On Battery
contact.
C2, C3 (Low B No
Line_LOBAT NOLIN)
These contacts are energized when the battery drops below a pre-set
voltage level and line is not present. They can be used to generate a
Low Battery
alarm. To change the pre-programmed level to match the
batteries used and the actual operating conditions, see
Low Battery

C4 (Timer)
This contact is energized after the unit has been in Inverter mode for
two hours. To change the pre-programmed two hours to match your
operating conditions, see

C5 (Alarm)
The C5 contact is energized when any alarm is generated.
