FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
EnergoCassette ENC, 230V
~
are approved in spray proof
(IP55) design in wet, dry and combustible areas, for
permanent installation by an authorised electrician, via all-
pole switches.
1.
EnergoCassette is a universal model which may be fitted
into ceiling-grids/suspended ceilings with T-profile 15 or
24 mm (see Fig.2) or fitted onto the ceiling using the
standard supplied brackets (see Fig.3). Lowest fitting
height is 1.8m from floor level (see Fig.1 - minimum
distance in cm to combustible items). Fixed heaters must
not be mounted in front of a socket outlet in NZ & AUS.

When fitted onto the ceiling, secure the bracket first to the
ceiling with 3 screws on each side with distance c/c¹ and
c/c² (see Fig.3). Insert the EnergoCassette in the bracket
by hooking the fixings (B) into the fixing slots (A).

Let the EnergoCassette hang vertical (see Fig.4) and
connect the cable to the terminal 4mm² in the junction box
(C) in accordance to the wiring diagram (see Fig.6), through
the cable lead-ins (D). Use cable size 6mm-12mm. Cut
carefully off a suitable part of the cable lead-ins, so it fits tight
around the cable.

Swing up (see Fig.4) and secure the EnergoCassette
horizontally into the bracket (see Fig.5) by the 2 supplied
screws (E). Warning! Make sure that the fixings (B) do not
become unhooked at the other end.

If the heater is to be fitted on chains or wires (separate
order), you may use the 4 existing fixings (B), see Fig.3.
6.
Aerosols, paint, solvents, dust and filth etc. may adhere
to the heater and cause some discolouration. The
performance of the heater remains the same! Switch off the
EnergoCassette while painting and drying.
Warning! This appliance must be earthed.
