Generator maintenance is described in this section.

Only personnel from the manufacturer may carry out mainte-
nance or repair work not described in this section.

7.1

Maintenance plan

Perform maintenance according to the information in the
engine manual.

7.2

Maintenance work

Only authorised personnel are allowed to carry out mainte-
nance tasks.

Perform all work in the maintenance plan according to the
information in the motor's operating and maintenance manu-
al

(see Figure 1-1-(2))

7.2.1

Drain the oil.

WARNING!

Leaking engine oil can contaminate soil and groundwa-
ter.



Use an oil collection container.



Recycle used motor oil

WARNING!

Engine oil can be hot



Allow motor to cool

When draining, note the special features of the device.
