To select additional functions, in the network view right-click the WirelessHART Adapter and select
Additional Functions
in the context menu.
9.4.1
Simulation
The
Simulation
function makes it possible to simulate adapter parameters. If the simulation is
activated by selecting the
Disabled
value in the
Simulation
parameter, adapter variables can be
chosen from a list. After assigning a value, simulation can be started by pressing the
Execute

• Battery Voltage With Load: battery voltage with a load
• Battery Voltage Without Load During Battery Test
• Consumed Energy
• Estimated Lifetime: estimated lifetime of the battery
• Scaled Loop Current
• Normalized Consumed Energy: energy consumed since the last battery change
• RSL of Best Neighbor: signal strength of the "best" neighbor
• RSL of Second Best Neighbor: signal strength of the "second-best" neighbor
• Temperature
• Temperature Min: minimum temperature since the last reset
• Temperature Max: maximum temperature since the last reset
