The following section provides you with an overview of possible causes of error to help you in
trouble-shooting.

Trouble-shooting instructions

Warning!
In the case of devices approved for use in explosion hazardous areas, error diagnosis
cannot
be
performed on the open device as the explosion protection would no longer be guaranteed.
11.2
Process error messages
Errors occurring during the self test or during operation are shown immediately on the display.
Acknowledgeable error messages are deleted after pressing a key. A fault is present if the hardware
for writing and reading data (EEPROM) is defective or if data cannot be read properly from the
EEPROM.
