Defining the tag name
To enable fast identification of the measuring point within the system, you can enter a unique
designation using the
Device tag
parameter and thus change the factory setting.

Protecting settings from unauthorized access
The following options exist for protecting the configuration of the measuring device from
unintentional modification after commissioning:
• Write protection via access code
• Write protection via write protection switch
• Write protection via keypad lock

Write protection via access code
With the customer-specific access code, the parameters for the measuring device
configuration are write-protected and their values can no longer be changed via local
operation.
