CAUTION
The standard electrolyte is a strong irritant
Danger of severe skin and eye irritation!
‣
Be absolutely certain to observe the corresponding workplace safety regulations.
‣
Wear protective gloves and goggles when handling the electrolyte.
‣
In case of eye contact: Remove contact lenses, rinse eyes with water for a few minutes
and contact a doctor.
‣
In case of skin contact: Take off wet clothing immediately, wash the skin or take a
shower.

1. Fill the membrane cap halfway with fresh electrolyte.
Remove any air bubbles by tapping the side of the membrane body (e.g. using a
pen/pencil).
2. Slowly screw the membrane cap onto the sensor head as far as it will go.
Collect the escaping electrolyte with a paper towel.
3. Screw on the protection guard or cleaning unit.
4. Put the sensor back into operation → 37.
10.3.5 Putting the sensor back into operation
After replacing the electrolyte:
1. Re-immerse the sensor into the medium.
2. Reset the counter on the transmitter.
