14.1   Setup menu

This menu contains all the parameters that are needed to configure the basic settings of

the device. The thermometer can be put into operation with this limited parameter set.

Device tag

Expert → Communication → HART configuration → Device tag

Description

Use this function to enter a unique name for the measuring point so it can be identified

quickly within the plant.

User entry

Max. 32 characters, such as letters, numbers or special characters (e.g. @, %, /)

Factory setting

Depends on the product root and the serial number

Description

Use this function to select the engineering unit for all the measured values.

Please note that if the factory setting (°C) is switched to another unit, all the

temperature value settings will be converted to fit to the setted temperature unit.

Example: Upper range value is set to 150 °C. After the unit was switched to °F, the
