INSTRUCTION MANUAL
This product is only suitable for connection to a 240V~50Hz supply in accordance with current IEE wiring
Regulations and should be installed in accordance with local UK Building Regulations and is for Domestic use
only.
The transformer, junction box and lights are rated at IP67 and are suitable for installation in wet areas but not
permanently submerged. The mains plug has NO protection against water ingress and MUST ALWAYS be
plugged in indoors.
The system contains non-replaceable parts which cannot be serviced / replaced. If these are damaged the part
must be scrapped.
The lights in this range are SELV Class III
and must only be used with the 12v safety isolating
transformer provided. Under no circumstances must this transformer be removed and the set connected
directly to the supply via a standard 13amp UK type. This will cause a safety hazard.
Do not exceed the transformer load – for example by trying to connect more lights to the set. This set must
only be used with the light units supplied.
Do not plug into the mains until your set is fully assembled and always disconnect the transformer from the
mains when maintaining the system.
This fitting uses none-replaceable LED`s. We recommend that you do not stare directly into the light beam.
When planning a cable run ensure that the low voltage cable does not run alongside any 240v mains cable.
Only use the cable supplied. Although this is low voltage cable it should be sited such that it is protected
against mechanical damage, for example by incorporating in a trench, of a suitable depth such that it will avoid
any reasonably foreseeable ground disturbance, and identified by cable covers or with suitable marking tape
etc.
This product cannot be dimmed.
The set should be routinely cleaned with a soft dry cloth. To keep the stainless steel parts in good condition
and to prolong their life, it is recommended that they are periodically cleaned using a soft cloth followed by the
application of a light coating of an oil based substance (such as WD40).
If any modification is made it will invalidate the warranty and may render the product unsafe.
Before you start.
Check the packaging and make sure that you have all the required parts.
Follow each assembly step in order to prevent incorrect assembly.
Plan the desired layout of these fittings carefully, ensuring the cables will reach the intended position of the
outdoor transformer, the outdoor junction box and each light fitting.
Avoid locating the cables where they would cause a trip hazard and away from areas where they may be at risk
of being cut, trapped or damaged. The lights should not be mounted in concrete and make sure there are no
cables or pipes beneath the mounting surface.
