Cleaning and maintenance overview
Before lowering into the pump shaft
After removal from the pump shaft
Cleaning the appliance externally
Rinse with clean water. Remove stubborn contamination with a brush and detergent.
Submerge the pump in a container with clean water and switch on for a short time to rinse the inside of the
pump.
Storing
If there is a risk of frost, dismantle the appliance and accessories, clean them and store in a place protected
from frost.
Malfunctions and troubleshooting
In the event of a malfunction…
Malfunctions are often caused by minor faults. You can easily remedy most of these yourself. Please consult
the following table before contacting the vendor. You will save yourself a lot of trouble and possibly money too.
If you can’t fix the fault yourself, contact your nearest vendor. Please be aware that any improper repairs will
also invalidate the warranty and additional costs may be incurred.

Before using the pump again, first “soak” it so that any possible dirt residues do not block the
appliance.

Frost destroys the appliance and accessories, as these
always contain water!

safely. Such repairs will endanger you and your surroundings.

ate the motor protection switch.
Pump runs but does not
pump.
Suction openings blocked?
Rectify blockage.
Pump draws in air?
Switch the pump on and off several times in or-
der to expel air.
Pump blocked by foreign bodies?
Clean the pump.
Delivery rate too low.

Comply with maximum delivery height

Rectify blockage.

Clean suction openings.
Pressure line kinked
Straighten pressure line.
Pressure line leaks
Seal pressure pipe.
Pump runs very loudly.
