Commissioning
Attach a sufficiently long rope to the suspension eyes before first use.
Connect pressure pipe
For occasional use, use a suitable water hose.
The use of rigid pipes with a non-return valve is recommended for use at a fixed location. This prevents return
flow of the liquid when switching off.
(Threaded connection:
– Screw pressure line onto the pressure connection.
All threaded connections must be sealed with thread sealing tape (e. g. Teflon® tape).
– When using a hose, screw a suitable hose adapter onto the pressure connection.
– Push the hose firmly onto the hose adapter and secure with a hose clamp.
Installation
X1 Max. submersion depth = 15 m
X2 Min. height of liquid above the underside of the pump = 20 cm
X3 Min. cross-section = ø 11 cm
X4 Minimum separation from the base of the pump shaft = 1 m
– Lower the pump into the pump shaft.
– If the depth is greater than 3 m, clip the connection cable to the rope
at regular intervals, using corrosion-resistant clips.
– Tighten the end of the rope firmly after lowering.
Operation
– Plug in the mains plug.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the appliance!
Do not lift the pump with the cable or pressure hose as
these are not designed for the tensile stress from the weight of the pump.
Note:
Use a sufficiently strong rope which is resistant to water and to UV-radiation.
In the case of continuous use of the pump with the rope, the condition of the rope must be checked
regularly as it can decay and break over time.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the appliance!
Do not place the device on the bottom of the well but
must be suspended in the water at min. 1 m above the bottom.
The device is not suitable for sandy water. The well must be cleansed in advance, if the well is sandy
in order to clean silting. The warranty claim will be lapsed if the damage is caused by silted water.
Note:
If the connection cable is not clamped, it can happen that the connection cable jams the pump
when it is being drawn out.
Note:
Do not operate the pump without pressure hose. Avoid the pump rotating around its longitudi-
nal axis.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the appliance!
Do not allow the appliance to dry-run (minimum water
