Both the Rosemount Model 375 (or 475) and a computer can be used to communicate with a HART
transmitter. The 250 ohm load (minimum) must be present between the transmitter and the power
supply.

shows the 5081-C-FF being used to measure conductivity. The figure also shows
three ways in which Fieldbus communciation can be used to read process variables and
configure the transmitter.
