AMS Device Manger
Right click on the device and select
Configuration Properties
from the menu
.
1.
In the
Analog Output
tab, locate the
Configuration Pressure Alerts
box, enter
Press Hi Alert
Val
and
Press Lo Alert Val
to configure the pressure alerts.

Configure
Press Alert Mode
to
ON
or
OFF
the drop down menu.
3.
In the
Configuration Temperature Alerts
box, enter
Temp Hi Alert Val
and
Temp Lo Alert Val
to configure the temperature alerts.
4.
Configure
Temp Alert Mode
to
ON
or
OFF
using the drop down menu and select
Apply
.
5.
An
Apply Parameter Modification
screen appears, enter desired information and select
OK
.
6.
After carefully reading the warning provided, select
OK
.

Sensor temperature unit
The Sensor Temperature Unit command selects between Celsius and Fahrenheit units for the
sensor temperature. The sensor temperature output is accessible via HART only.

In the Process Input tab, use the drop down menu
Snsr temp unit
to select
F
(Farenheit)
or
C
(Celsius). Select
Apply
.

Select
Next
to acknowledge send warning.

Select
Finish
to acknowledge the method is complete.

An
Apply Parameter Modification
screen appears, enter desired information and select
OK
.

After carefully reading the warning, select
OK
.

Diagnostics and service
Diagnostics and service functions listed below are primarily for use after field installation. The
Transmitter Test feature is designed to verify that the transmitter is operating properly, and can
be performed either on the bench or in the field. The Loop Test feature is designed to verify
proper loop wiring and transmitter output, and should only be performed after you install the
transmitter.
