Programming the 3102 and 3105 using HART

F.4.7

Distance (D910)

This indicates the distance from the transmitter face to a detected surface.

It is a useful diagnostic because a false surface signal can be identified and related to the physical
nature of the installation.

Note

Figure F-1 on page 137

shows this parameter in a tank geometry illustration.

Select the transmitter (e.g. “Tx1: 3102”).
