Ambient temperature

The Rosemount 2230 is equipped with a temperature sensor for measuring ambient temperature. The 
temperature can be displayed on the field display and in the TankMaster software.

Ambient temperature affects the readability and response time of the LCD. This is particularly notable in 
extremely cold weather. The Rosemount 2230 automatically adjusts the LCD contrast based on the 
ambient temperature. The temperature sensor also controls the minimum toggle time used by the 
Rosemount 2230.
