Changing transmitter address using AMS Device Manager
Right click on the device and select
Configure
.
1.
In HART Revision 5 mode:
a.
Click on
Manual Setup
, select the
HART
tab.
b. In the Communication Settings box enter polling address in the
Polling Address
box,
click
Send
.
2. In HART Revision 7 mode:
a.
Click on
Manual Setup
, select the
HART
tab and click the
Change Polling Address
button.
3. Carefully read the warning and click
Yes
if it is safe to apply the changes.

Communicating with a multidropped transmitter
To communicate with a multidrop transmitter, the Field Communicator or AMS Device Manager
has to be set up for Polling.

Configure HART Application
.
2. Select
Polling Addresses.
3. Enter
0-63.
