4.6 6560 Processor module
The 6560 Processor module provides all data acquisition, data storage, and data
communications functions for the CSI 2600. The 6560 is capable of up to 24 simultaneous,
continuous waveform measurements for detailed Spectral analysis, up to 24 RMS and DC
values for Gross Scan measurements, up to 4 tachometers for machine speed
measurement, and up to 4 discrete state inputs.
Gross Scan values, tachometer values, and digital input states may be combined logically
to determine machine operating state, which may be used to define specific data
acquisition states. The system can be configured to transmit and store data on either time
interval or based on the amount of change of the data values.
The processor module provides 2 100Base-T Ethernet ports and one RS-232 serial port for
system communications and diagnostics. Additional connections are available for the
calibration signal and a dry contact SPDT SysFail relay. This relay is energized when the
Processor CPU successfully boots. On a CPU failure or power loss, the relay will de-
energize.
