Quality Type Mapping
–
IEC 61850
The Quality attributes can be selected during configuration using the “IEC 61850
Conf
igurator” dialogue in Machine Edition. On validation of configuration, equivalent
Protocol Variables (PPVs) are automatically created for Quality. These quality variables get
updated in the RX3i controller and can be read as normal RX3i controller variables.
An example of a quality PPV variable in RX3i controller project with data type as DWORD (4
Bytes):
S5_SR350. Emerson DeviceSR350.GGIO1_Beh.q_ST
The equivalent IEC 61850 Configurator DA:
SR350. Emerson DeviceSR350.GGIO1\Beh\q[ST]

Configurator” dialogue in Mach
ine Edition. On validation of configuration, equivalent
Protocol Variables (PPVs) are automatically created for Timestamp. These Timestamp
variables get updated in the RX3i controller and can be read as normal RX3i controller
variables.
