FRU Installation

AXP640 Installation and Use (6806800M24E)

4. Replace the filter frame onto the bezel to secure the filter media.

5. Reattach the bezel by placing the bottom of the bezel on the mounting hooks on

the bottom of the chassis. Rotate the top of the bezel towards the chassis until the
bezel retention latches are secured into the chassis.

SAM Filter Replacement Procedure

1. Loosen thumbscrew to remove SAM air filter frame from the chassis.

2. Tilt the air filter frame down and remove it from the chassis.

3. The air filter element is held to the air filter frame by 2 pieces of Velcro on the backside of

the frame. Pull the air filter element off the Velcro to remove it from the frame. Press the
new air filter element firmly against the Velcro to reattach it to the frame.
