(The password is case-sensitive; the default is level-2). The
HyperTerminal window appears with software and hardware
version information for the director, and a

prompt at the
bottom of the window.
9. At the

prompt, type
ipconfig
and press

NTER
. The
HyperTerminal window appears with this configuration
information:
• MAC Address
• IP Address (default is 10.xxx.yyy.zzz)
• Subnet Mask (default is 255.0.0.0)
• Gateway Address (default is 0.0.0.0)
10. Change the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address as
directed by the customer’s network administrator. To change the
director’s network addresses, type the following at the {
