Fabric Zoning

Ports and WWNs Added to Members in Zone Section
• Add detached node. Move your cursor over the Actions icon
and select Add Detached Node from the pop-up menu. When
the Add Detached Node dialog box appears, type in the
WWN of the node that you want to add as a zone member and
select OK to add the WWN to the Members in Zone section.
This option may be desirable for nodes that have not yet been
connected to a director port in the fabric. Knowledge of the port
where the node attaches is not necessary. When a node is later
connected to a port, zoning is already complete.
5. To clear members from the Members in zone section perform one
of the following steps:
• To clear a single member, select the member and drag it out of
the frame.
• To clear all members, move your cursor over the Actions icon
and select Clear zone from the pop-up menu. When the
warning appears asking if you want to remove all members in
the zone, click Yes.
