5. Maintenance
Warning!
Electric shock hazard!
• Disconnect the supply voltage before carrying out any maintenance or
repair work.
• The machine in which the RX22 ion blower unit STATICJET is installed
must not be in operation.
• Maintenance work must be carried out by qualified electricians.
Caution!
The internal emission tip of the RX22 ion blower unit STATICJET must not
be damaged.
For trouble-free operation, the tip must be straight and sharply pointed.
Defective emission tips must be replaced using the proper tools.
RX22 Ion Blower Unit STATICJET
Dismantle the nozzle attachment to clean the emission tip.
• Clean the emission tips at regular intervals using a soft nylon brush or a
clean cloth.
• For tough dirt (e.g. grease, ink, adhesive etc.), clean the emission tip
and the air outlet vent with a suitable solvent (cleaning gasoline).
•
Caution!
Do not immerse the RX22 ion blower unit STATICJET in solvent.
