7.4  OLT firmware update

This section describes the terminal firmware update procedure. To download a firmware file, use the TFTP 
server available in the terminal management network. The device has two areas for firmware files, with the 
ability to boot from the selected one.

Step 1.

 Copy the firmware file into the root folder (or any other known folder) of the TFTP server.

Step 2.

 Update the firmware by using the 

copy

 command.

Step 3.

To view the firmware versions in the sections, use the 

show firmware
