7 Terminal maintenance
7.1 SFP transceivers replacement
SFP transceivers can be installed when the terminal is turned on or off. The front panel has
pairs of slots: even slots in the upper line, odd slots at the bottom. SFP transceivers are
symmetrically installed for each pair of slots.
Step 1.
Insert an SFP transceiver into a slot with its open side down (open side up for
the bottom line of slots).

Step 2.
Push the module. When it is in place, you should hear a distinctive 'click'.

To remove a transceiver:
Step 1.
Unlock the module's latch.

Remove the module from the slot.
