9.3 Cleaning the boiler
• Dischargewaterfromthehumidifier(see "8.2 MANUAL WATER DISCHARGE" ON PAGE 26 );
• Turn off the power from the machine using the external disconnector;
•
Openthepanelsofthehumidifierasdescribed "4.3 INSTALLATION" ON PAGE 12 ;
• Disconnect the electrode cables from the contactor;
• Takecarenottodamagetheamperometrictransformer(AT)ontheelectronicboard;
• Disconnect the steam supply pipe at the top of the boiler;
• Disconnect the sleeve connector at the bottom of the boiler;
•
Unscrewthetwoscrewsonthetopofthehumidifieranddisconnectthesolenoidvalvethatfeedsthewater.
• Lift the boiler up slightly until it comes off its supports at the bottom and pull it straight out of the cabinet;
•
Placetheboilerinabucketwithasolutionofcitricacidoraceticacidovernight(theboilermustbecompletelyfilledwith
the solution);
• Remount the boiler.
9.4 Cleaning the optional stainless steel drain tank (accessory)
• Disconnect the basin from the drain;
•
Removethebasinfromthebottomofthehumidifier;
• Remove any built-up limescale and clean the basin under running water;
•
Placethebasinbackinitsoriginalpositionandreconnecttothedrain.
9.5 Replacing the boiler
• Dischargewaterfromthehumidifier(see "8.2 MANUAL WATER DISCHARGE" ON PAGE 26 );
• Turn off the power from the machine using the external disconnector;
•
Openthepanelsofthehumidifierasdescribed "4.3 INSTALLATION" ON PAGE 12 ;
• Unscrewthetiethatblockstheinspectioncap;
• Removetheplugandcleanthehumidifierofanylimescale;
• Puttheinspectioncapandthetiebackinplace.
• Unscrewthetwoscrewsonthetopofthehumidifieranddisconnectthesolenoidvalvethatfeedsthewater;
• Lift the boiler up slightly until it comes off its supports at the bottom and pull it straight out of the cabinet;
• Insert the new boiler as described
"9.6 INSTALLING THE BOILER" ON PAGE 29 ;
• DependingonthemodelofKThumidifierinstalled,makesurethecableconnectionsfromtheboileraretightened
properly (see "6. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS" ON PAGE 18 );
• MakesurethecablethatgoesfromtheboilertothecontactorgoesthroughthetransformerAT.

9.6 Installing the boiler
• Place the boiler on its supports;
•
Connectthesolenoidvalvetofeedthewaterandscrewthetwoscrewsonthetopofthehumidifiertight;
• Insert the inspection cap and tighten the tie;
•
Insertthepanelsofthehumidifierasdescribed "4.3 INSTALLATION" ON PAGE 12
