• Beforecarryingoutanyworkonthehumidifier,includinganykindofmaintenance,itmustbedisconnectedfromthepower
supply.
• Ifwaterbeginsleakingfromtheboiler,disconnectthehumidifierimmediatelyfromthemains.
• Ifanythingunusualorirregularhappenswhichisnotdescribedinthismanual,servicetheboilerand/orreplaceit.

Ifanythingunusualorirregularhappens,disconnectthehumidifierimmediatelyfromthemains.
• Afterextendedoperationand/orduetothewaterused,limescalecanbuildupinsidetheboiler,bringingtheelectrodes
closertogetherortothewallsoftheboiler.Theycanpotentiallybecomeelectricalconductorswhich,whenthereisno
waterintheboiler,cancausethetemperaturetorise(andthesurfaceoftheboilertobecomeblack)andtheboilerwall
tomelt(withelectricallychargedwaterleakingout);

Ifwaterbeginsleakingfromtheboiler,disconnectthehumidifierimmediatelyfromthemains.
Checking the condition of the humidifier
Carry out the following controls as shown:

Checktherearenoleaksafteronehourofcontinuousoperation.
When changing

Checktherearenoleaksafteronehourofcontinuousoperation.
Every 3 days
• Checkthehumidifierisoperatingcorrectly(accordingtotheindicationsgiveninthismanual);
• Checktherearenoleaksinthehydraulicsystem;
• Checkeverythingappearstobeworkingproperly.
Every 30 days
• Checktherearenoobstructionswhendischargingwater;
• Checkthewaterdrainscorrectly;
• Remove any limescale in the drain.
Every 60 days
• Checkthebuild-upoflimescaleinsidetheboilerisnotexcessive;
• Washtheinsideoftheboilerwith20%aceticacid,cleaningtheelectrodesandthesurfaceoftheboiler.
• Ifnecessary,replacetheelectrodesandseals.
Every 2 years

9.2 Periodical cleaning of the product and parts
• Dischargewaterfromthehumidifier(see "8.2 MANUAL WATER DISCHARGE" ON PAGE 26 );
• Turn off the power from the machine using the external disconnector;

Openthepanelsofthehumidifierasdescribed "4.3 INSTALLATION" ON PAGE 12 ;
• Unscrewthetiethatblockstheinspectioncap;
• Removetheplugandcleanthehumidifierofanylimescale;
• Puttheinspectioncapandthetiebackinplace.
• Unscrewthetwoscrewsonthetopofthehumidifieranddisconnectthesolenoidvalvethatfeedsthewater.
