Wireless Key (HIS20USB) 

Installation and Operating Instructions 

 
 

 

 

I. Function 

Overview: 

 

1.  OS: Windows XP / Windows 7 

2.  Minimum system requirements: 

CPU: Core 2 Duo 

RAM: 2G 

HD: 20GB (requires at least 20G of space 

available on your PC’s hard drive to install the 

drivers, Microsoft .Net Framework and HIS PC 

software) 

3.  USB 1.0/1.1/2.0 compatible. 

4.  RF supported: 868.35 Mhz 

5.  Once the system is activated, it will be 

automatically linked to HIS20USB (Wireless 

key). 

6. Accessible and configurable Home Box 

settings include: 

1.  Scene: Scenario settings 

Supports up to 16 scenarios. 

2. Event: 

Event 

settings 

Supports up to 32 events. 

3.  Schedule: Schedule settings 

Supports up to 32 schedules. 

4.  Event Log: Browse Home Box event log. 

Supports up to 100 events. 

5.  Gateway Setup: Gateway setting 

1.GSM: Settings for the currently 

supported GSM Gateways. 

2.SMS: Configure the content of SMS 

notification to be sent when the alarm 

has been triggered. 

6. Device 

Setup: 

1.868 MHz Security Device: 

(1)Remote / Sensor: for security TX 

devices; supports up to 32 wireless 

devices and 4 wired security devices 

including PIR / Magnetic / Remote / 

Keypad / Flood / Smoke and so forth. 

(2)Control: For security enhancement 

devices; supports configurations for up 

to 12 devices including Wireless Key / 

GSM Gateway and so forth. 

 

2.433 MHz Green Device 

(1)Remote / Sensor: for Home 

Automation TX devices; supports 

configurations for up to 32 devices 

including PIR / Wall Switch and so 

forth. 

(2)Control: for Home Automation RX 

devices; supports configurations for up 

to 32 devices including Plug / Dimmer 

/ Curtain Switch / Camera / Lighting 

and so forth. 

 

7. System

to 8 user settings.

Alarm Level: Alarm level settings. 

3.  Notifications: Phone number 

settings; supports up to 6 groups 

of phone numbers.

Dial: Dialing related settings.

Siren: Siren DIP Switch settings.

Time & Languages: Home Box

II.  Instructions for installation: 

 

Connect HIS20USB (Wireless key) to your PC’s USB 

port after you have installed its driver. The installation 

process is described as follows: 

 

2-1. To install the Wireless key driver (PL-2303 

USB-to-Serial), run Step1_HIS20USB 

Driver\PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v10518.exe
