CHARGING THE APPLIANCE
This appliance can be used on battery power or connected directly to
the mains power supply.
Do not recharge the appliance if the ambient temperature is
below 5°C or above 40°C.
USING FOR THE FIRST TIME.
The appliance can be charged by connecting the
adaptor directly to the appliance or by connecting it via the base.

In both cases, connect the power adapter plug to the socket outlet, making sure
that the appliance is off.

Charge the appliance for
2 hours
before using for the first time.

Before using the appliance, always ensure it is completely dry.
When the appliance is charging, the
“CHARGE”
indicator (ref.

, fig.

) flashes.
When completely charged, the
“CHARGE“
indicator remains fixed.
If “LOW” (ref. 18, fig.
A3
) appears on the LCD display during use, it
indicates reduced autonomy of the battery.
If “CHARGE” (ref. 17, fig.
A3
) appears on the LCD display during use,
it indicates that the appliance must be charged or connected to the
power supply with its adapter 9 (fig. A)
Do not completely discharge the battery in case you wish to use the
appliance with the power supply cable inserted.
With the "TURBO" function inserted, autonomy of the battery
decreases.
CHARGING AFTER THE FIRST USE.
•
Ensure that the appliance is completely dry.
•
Ensure that the appliance is off, or turn it off by pressing the
ON/OFF button

Charge the appliance as described in the paragraph "USING FOR THE FIRST TIME."
PROLONGED PERIOD OF DISUSE
If the appliance is not going to be used for a period greater than six months, it should
be charged for 2 hours, as described in paragraph "USING FOR THE FIRST TIME", before
being put away into storage.
Should the battery discharge, change the battery at an authorised Customer Service
Centre.
Recommendations for preserving battery life:
•
Do not charge the appliance every day.
•
Completely drain the battery every six months, then recharge following the
instructions described in the paragraph "USING FOR THE FIRST TIME".
•
Do not charge the appliance for longer than the recommended time; overcharging
reduces the life of the rechargeable batteries.
Fully charge the appliance at least once a year.
Do not try to change the batteries yourself. Refer to an
authorised customer service centre.
