8.63 MAINTENANCE
– STOP MENU [85] (Available from release 1.10)

– Stop menu
Authorization level:
TECHNICIAN
Purpose:
If you want to fully deactivate the control panel power, you have first to activate the «Stop Menu» function which
enables to suitably stop any currently running process.
How to do it
:
1. Press the
OK
key. The display shows the message «Activate».
2. Press the OK key to confirm
3. When deactivation is completed the display will show the message: «ELKRON
– WL31 OFF!!» and the control
panel will suitably stop any running process. Under this condition the control panel waits for power off.
Warning
: In the event of flat batteries, lasting for at least 180 hours, the control panel will stop automatically the
running processes and the display will show the message: «ELKRON
– WL31 OFF!!»
Action to take: REPLACE THE BATTERIES

8.65 ADVANCED - RADIO PROTECTION [850]

Authorization level:
TECHNICIAN
Purpose:
This enables you to set the security levels against the attempts to interfere with the devices and radio
communications.
If supervision intervals (medium or high) are frequent the security level is higher, but the
batteries’ life is reduced.
Supervision
: this function verifies at regular intervals, 24 hours out of 24, that all the devices, apart from remote
controls and keyboards, are working. It is possible to choose one of the following supervision intervals:
OFF: supervision disabled,
LOW: one test every 6 minutes, (radio sabotage signal after 7 hours)
MEDIUM: one test every 4 minutes,
HIGH, one test every 2 minutes.
When a device does not answer for seven consecutive times, an interference alarm is generated.
Jamming
: this function sets the duration of a jamming attempts (communication channel shielding) so that a Radio
Damage event occurs. The jamming function can be adjusted on:
OFF: check disabled,
LOW CHECK: main and back-up channel shielding for 30 sec.
HIGH CHECK: main and back-up channel shielding for 5 sec.
If channel shielding is detected, an interference alarm is generated.
NOTE: when the jamming function is on, also the “cables cut”
function is on (external sirens will activate if for
18 minutes no signal is receeved from the control panel)
How to do it:
1. Press the
OK
and use the

keys to choose the «Supervision» or «Jamming» function. Confirm
your choice by pressing the
OK
key.
2. Use the keys
and
to choose the security level required.
3. Confirm by pressing the
OK
key.
Caution : should the radio communication between a device and the control panel be temporarily
failing and the upper level is set to ‘OFF’ , the control panel will display the failure icon in any case
until restoring the radio communication.
If this condition lasts for more than 70 continuative hours, further to system deactivation, the control panel will
sound a warning buzzer.
