Optical signal
After the start of the washing programme, on
the floor below the appliance door, the opti-
cal signal shows:
• Red light on: start of the washing pro-
gramme. The light stays on for all the du-
ration time of the washing programme.
• Red light goes off: end of the washing pro-
gramme.
• Red light flashes: malfunction of the appli-
ance.
If the appliance is installed higher with a
flush kitchen furniture door, the optical
signal will not be visible.

Rinse aid
1)
The indicator light comes on when it is necessary
to fill the rinse aid. Refer to the chapter 'Use of
rinse aid'.
Salt
1)
The indicator light comes on when it is necessary
to fill the salt container. Refer to the chapter 'Use
of dishwasher salt'.
After you fill the container, the salt indicator light
can continue to stay on for some hours. This does
not have an unwanted effect on the operation of
the appliance.
1) When the salt and/or rinse aid containers are empty, the related indicator lights do not come on while
a washing programme operates.
