Changing bulb for inside
light
Only use a special bulb which is designed specially
for dryers. The special bulb is available from the af-
ter-sales service, ET-Nr. 112 552 000-5.

Warning!
Do not use standard bulbs! These
develop too much heat and may damage the
machine!

Warning!
Before replacing the bulb, discon-
nect the mains plug; with a permanent con-
nection: fully unscrew or deactivate the fuse.

Unscrew covering bonnet from above bulb (this
can be found directly behind the loading aperture,
at the top; refer to “Description of machine” sec-
tion.)

Replace defective bulb.

Screw covering bonnet back down.

Warning!
For reasons associated with safety,
the covering bonnet must be screwed down
tightly. If this is not done, the dryer must not
be operated.
Door cannot be opened with
the DOOR [TÜR] button.
Mains plug disconnected.
Plug in at mains socket.
Programme knob in OFF (AUS) posi-
tion.
Set programme. Door can be opened at
any time by exerting pressure on the
door.
Door cannot be closed.
Fine filter not in place and/or large
mesh filter not inserted correctly.
Install fine filter and/or snap large mesh
filter into place.
Display shows: SELECTION
ERROR.
The selected function cannot be
combined with other programme
settings.
Select another function.
Drum light is not working.
Programme knob in OFF (AUS) posi-
tion.
Turn programme knob to LIGHT (BE-
LEUCHTUNG) or to any programme.
Defective light bulb.
Replace light bulb (see next section).
Programme stops midway,
display shows: THE TANK IS
FULL, PLEASE EMPTY.
Condensed water container is full.
Empty condensed water container, then
start programme with the START/
PAUSE button.
Drying cycle ends shortly after
programme starts. Display
shows: PLEASE CHECK THE
LOAD.
Not enough washing loaded or
washing loaded is too dry for select-
ed programme.
Select Timed Drying or higher degree of
dryness (e. g., INTENSIVE DRY
[STARKTROCKEN] instead of STOR-
AGE DRY [SCHRANKTROCKEN]).
Washing is heavily creased.
Possibly too much washing was
loaded.
Observe recommended loads.
