4.5: Voltage and Power Supply Connections
Voltage inputs are connected to the back of the unit via wire connectors. The
connectors accommodate AWG# 12-26/(0.129 - 3.31)mm

. The diagram below
shows the back of a meter with the RS485P Option. If your meter has the INP10
option or is a Shark® 50B meter, the back will look somewhat different (see figures
5.8 and 8.1).

4.6: Ground Connections
The meter’s Ground terminals should be connected directly to the installation’s
protective earth ground. Use AWG# 12/2.5 mm

wire for this connection.
4.7: Voltage Fuses
EIG requires the use of fuses on each of the sense Voltages and on the control power.
• Use a 0.1 Amp fuse on each Voltage input.
