There is a short delay of 5 to 6 seconds while the gauge switches on; when the gauge is ready to take
readings the display will change to the reading screen.
The unit will switch off automatically approximately 2 minutes after the last button is pressed. If, however,
you wish to switch off instantly, press and release the second function button, then hold down the ON button.
