4 Module (re)installation
What should be done before installation of the module and optional accessories:
Before any module or accessory is to be reinstalled, it is recommended to verify whether the sale has been finished and to
have a Z-report printed. Sales values may otherwise be lost.
It is recommended to print the cash register`s basic configurations before installation if the condition of the cash register allows
it, or to store these data by transmitting them to the computer. To do this, use the Eurosoft software.
Before you start installation, make sure that the external adapter is disconnected and the cash register is switched off.
4.1 Dismantling the cash register
Warning:
Do not start to dismantle the cash register before you switch it off and disconnect the external adapter.
1. Pull out the back cover by gripping the side lugs.
2. Holding on to the display slit, near the paper ribbon outlet, pull the middle cover out.
3. By taking out the smelling mass and by pressing on to the fixing lugs on the side of the paper ribbon seizure and by
pulling it out, separate the display slit from the middle cover.
4. Gently pry four buttons of the keyboard.
5. Loosen the middle screw and four screws of the front cover under the pried buttons.
6. Separate the front cover.
7. Disconnect all the connectors from the undercover.
8. Separate the middle cover from the undercover.
